Andrea Agassi, Steffi Graf Take Pickleball Slam 3 in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center Over Andy Roddick, and Genie Bouchard

“The Duel In the Desert”
Tennis legends, Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Andy Roddick, and Genie Bouchard competed on Sunday for a $1M purse in the Pickleball Slam 3, the premier showcase of the fastest growing sport in America. “The Duel In the Desert” was broadcast live on ESPN from the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. After a thrilling series of matches, including a dreambreaker, Team Agassi/Graf emerged victorious over Team Roddick/Bouchard.
Also participating in Slam 3 were Mardy Fish and John Isner, both tennis professionals who have turned their attention to pickleball. Fish was part of Team Agassi/Graf while Isner joined Team Roddick/Bouchard.
To open the competition, Agassi cruised to win the first two sets to defeat Roddick (15-11); (15-10) to earn his team the first point of Slam 3.

It was then that things got interesting.
In the second match, Graf/Fish topped Bouchard/Isner in a hard-fought, back to back sets (15-14); (15-14) to earn team Agassi/Graf their second point of Slam 3.
In the main event, Team Agassi/Graf won the first set (15-9) before Team Roddick/Bouchard won the third match, winning the last two sets (15-10); (11-10), to earn two points and force a dreambreaker.
